How are embed-elements on resources?

I am referring to those elements that can be integrated to other sites. How to implement a server? Do you use caching? Maybe there is some kind of a framework? MVC, js + ajax (+ JSON?), Iframe + + subdomain formed by static, through the usual analysis of the request for the issuance of the condition?
